This print was inspired by a family summer holiday in Holland and our first cycle tour together. This particular day, we changed our route after our Air B&B host insisted it would be worth the extra few miles to travel off road through the sand dunes. I’m so glad we listened to her recommendation as it ended up being my favourite day of the holiday! The scenery was beautiful and we came across a herd of wild horses living in the sand dunes. My daughter who was 9 absolutely loved horses and she managed to get very close to them. A little reminder that it’s the people you meet along the way that end up having the most impact.
